Drought Mortality crew starts another summer in the Sierra Nevada

Another summer field season is upon us and following the forest health training the “Little Crew That Could” began slogging it out in Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park. The park is exceptionally beautiful but with few roads and very rugged terrain this makes it one of the hardest sites in our network. Here we are after a long(ish) hike to do 1 of 3 different protocols we are running for the summer of 2019.
